Kathleen Lynch attacks Simon Coveney over his ‘disloyalty’

Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney was accused of being "disloyal" by an angered Labour minister after saying Fine Gael would consider a coalition with Fianna Fáil after the next election.

Mr Coveney is also facing a backlash from Fine Gael party TDs after saying he did not have any ideological problem with forming a coalition with Fianna Fáil.

Junior health minister Kathleen Lynch yesterday attacked Mr Coveney, saying Labour had borne the brunt of cleaning up Fine Gael’s messes over the last year.
