Apology to Greg Harkin

On July 26 2014 we published an article on our website headlined "Dana’s Brother Cleared of Sex Abuse", which included a statement attributed to John Brown.

We have received a complaint that this statement could be taken to question the impartiality, integrity and professionalism of journalist Greg Harkin in his reporting of the case.

We unreservedly withdraw any such inference and we apologise to Mr Harkin for any distress or embarrassment caused by the publication of this statement.
