Report due on soldier’s shock ordeal at the Curragh Camp

An investigation was launched late last year after the experienced soldier claimed he was assaulted at The Curragh camp when fellow troops grabbed him, tied him down on the ground with tent pegs, put wire around his toes and then subjected him to a number of electric shocks to the feet and chest.

The man claimed up to 30 colleagues were looking on as this took place and some of them even videoed the ordeal on camera phones.
