Former billionaire Seán Quinn has agreed to pay creditors €20,000 from earnings he may receive over the next two years after he exits bankruptcy this week, the High Court has heard.

Once the richest man in Ireland, Mr Quinn is due to emerge from his three-year period of bankruptcy on Friday. The former billionaire is to pay €10,000 per year for the next two years.

In 2012, the former Anglo Irish Bank was successful in its application to have Mr Quinn, 67, adjudicated as a bankrupt on debts of €2bn.
