All quiet on Midwest front in University Hospital Limerick’s A&E

It was relatively quiet in University Hospital Limerick’s accident and emergency department yesterday morning.

At 10.45am, there were 14 people in the A&E waiting area — where numbers spiked above 80 in recent days.

A warning sign inside the door may have influenced the big drop in numbers.
