Republican Pearse McCauley is facing a further two weeks in prison following a court appearance yesterday.

Republican accused faces two more weeks in custody as case adjourned

McCauley, aged 50, was remanded in custody to Castlerea Prison following his initial court appearance in Cavan on St Stephen’s Day.

He is facing four charges, including threatening to kill of cause serious harm to his wife, Pauline Tully McCauley, at Keelderry, Kilnaleck, Co Cavan, on Christmas Eve.
