Stormont deal promises brighter future for North, says Kenny

A political agreement on a range of disputes that had undermined power-sharing in the North promises a brighter future for all of the people of Northern Ireland, Taoiseach Enda Kenny said last night.

“I commend the parties for their courage in reaching this agreement.

“Its full implementation will mean that the people of Northern Ireland can look to that brighter future together, with hope and confidence.
