Kenny increases pressure on Draghi to appear at inquiry

Taoiseach Enda Kenny increased the pressure on ECB president Mario Draghi to appear before the Oireachtas banking inquiry.

He met Mr Draghi on the margins of the EU summit in Brussels and asked him to consider how best the European Central Bank could assist and contribute to the inquiry.

Mr Kenny said he would come back to him about the issue, saying that their discussion was just a preliminary one.
