Dublin Airport Authority appeals charges ruling

Dublin Airport Authority has claimed a decision of the regulator related to airport charges will adversely impact its plans for a major commercial initiative known as the Dublin Airport City development.

DAA Plc has initiated judicial review proceedings against the Commissioner for Aviation Regulation over the treatment of the authority’s investment in the Dublin Airport City project in the regulator’s October 2014 Final Determination setting the maximum level of airport charges for 2015 to 2019.

Mr Justice Brian McGovern yesterday agreed to transfer the proceedings to the Commercial Court.
