Cosgrave wishes Kenny well in running country

Former Taoiseach Liam Cosgrave has wished Enda Kenny well in running the country and warned that being in government is never easy.

The former Fine Gael leader was speaking as he donated the papers of his father, WT Cosgrave, to the Royal Irish Academy.

The documents, including personal letters and photographs, were included in a recent biography of WT Cosgrave, who was the first president of the executive council, the first prime minister of Ireland.
