Cork Glows in time for Christmas

Dust off your Santa hat, root out that reindeer nose — Christmas in Cork has officially begun as the annual Glow festival dons its festive baubles once again.

Merrymakers of all ages could be seen flitting from stall to stall on Cork’s Grand Parade yesterday, sampling a variety of culinary delights and taking in all the sights and sounds of the celebration.

After the success of Tir na Nollaig last year, Bishop Lucey Park has transformed itself yet again, this time featuring a Night Before Christmas theme — a 3D version of the book with real-life characters.
