Motorist, 24, clocks up 133-year road ban

A 24-year-old Limerick motorist with cumulative driving bans totalling 93 years has clocked up a further 40 years of disqualifications at Limerick District Court.

Jonathan Curtin pleaded guilty to two offences, adding to the 154 convictions he already had, including 20 related to driving without insurance.

Curtin, of Yeats Avenue, Kincora Park, currently serving six months, admitted driving without insurance and giving a false name to Garda Dermot Cummins at Milford Rd on April 14.
