‘Angry they could not find prostitutes’

Two off-duty gardaí stationed in Dublin seemed to get angry when they couldn’t find prostitutes on a Christmas party night out in Limerick, a court heard.

‘Angry they could not find prostitutes’

The claim was made at Limerick District Court where David Naughton, aged 33, with an address in Lucan, Dublin, and Wesley Kenny, aged 36, with an address in Sandycove, Dublin, deny charges of assaulting Luke and James Morrison, at Cecil Street, Limerick, on December 5 last.

On the opening day of the trial, Luke Morrison, aged 19, said the accused tried to force their way into his flat in Cecil St, saying they were looking for “brassers”, which the court was told is a term for prostitutes.
