Gardaí probe child snatch attempt in Limerick

Gardaí are continuing a major investigation into a bizarre attempted child snatch in Co Limerick.

The incident occurred in Caherconlish village, about 15km from Limerick City, as a local woman was walking home from school with her daughter.

The young mother, in her 20s, was approached on Barrack Road by a woman in her 30s.
