A transportation plan is to be launched with the aim of cutting gridlock in a West Cork town in the years ahead.

The plan for Bandon will immediately focus on next summer when large parts of the town will be dug up during the construction of a new sewerage system.

The Bandon Transportation and Public Realm Enhancement Plan will examine ways of making it easier for motorists, cyclists, and walkers to access the town.
