Irish web portal doubles its number of archive collections
Represented by a voluntary group of professional archivists, Irish Archives Resource (IAR) launched an information flyer in the National Archives yesterday to mark the expansion of its portal, www.iar.ie.
The portal has archival collections from over 30 prominent archive services around the country, north and south.
New contributors include the TCD Manuscripts and Archives Research Department, RTÉ Stills Library and National Museum of Ireland Archives.
