A man has been accused of a series of gross sex offences against a child.

The 27-year-old is to stand trial on five charges of raping the girl when she was between 4 and 7 years old.

The man appeared yesterday at Sligo District Court. He was accused of raping the girl on dates between July 8, 2007, and July 7, 2010.
