GAA club man banned for 96 weeks after U16 game brawl

An adult member of a GAA club has received a near two-year touchline ban following a massive brawl at an underage match in Co Cork.

A second man, from another club, received a 12-week ban arising out of a brawl in July. The two men were dealt with by a GAA disciplinary committee.

However, are also pursuing a separate investigation into what occurred at the U16 hurling championship game between Valley Rovers from Innishannon in West Cork and Cork City team St Vincent’s.
