Staff have been told they must hand in receipts for clothing destroyed in a hospital flood — a year after the incident.

Anger over handling of Letterkenny hospital staff’s flood claim

Staff had been promised they would be compensated for damaged shoes, clothing and items they had in lockers during the flood at Letterkenny General Hospital in Donegal in July 2013.

The total claim is understood to be in the region of €22,000.
