Clear out closet to aid a child’s future

That floaty floral dress may hold fond memories of the past summer but if it’s helping keep your crammed wardrobe doors permanently ajar, it could be time to turn it into an investment in a child’s future.

Enable Ireland have teamed up with TK Maxx to urge people to get the jump on spring by doing a summer cleaning of their cupboards and drawers and donating any unwanted items to help fund the charity’s services.

They’re looking for clean clothes in good condition, shoes, accessories such as bags, belts, ties and jewellery, and other belongings such as linens, towels, crockery, cutlery, ornaments, books, CDs, and DVDs.
