Irish all set to continue their French revolution

The small market town of Marcoussis used to supply Paris with tomatoes and strawberries. Today, it will deliver to the French capital an Irish women’s rugby team intent on making history.

Defeating reigning champions New Zealand last week catapulted the squad into the national headlines. Beat England at Stade Jean Bouin this evening (KO: 5pm, Irish time) and they will trump that by securing a place in a first World Cup final.
