Long-faced taxpayers are raising a few eyebrows over the HSE’s spending on cosmetic procedures.

HSE spent €530k for 150 facelift and brow-lift ops in past five years

The HSE spent over €500,000 on facelifts and brow-lift surgeries for public patients in the past five years. It has paid €530,177 for 150 of the cosmetic procedures since 2009.

More than €1.7m was blown on nose jobs for 618 patients by the HSE during the same period.
