Uncle attended to quad bike crash teen

A young man who tragically lost his life in a road accident was attended to by his uncle who works in the emergency services.

The victim, Kenneth Ryan, aged 17, from Pallasgreen, Co Limerick, was travelling without a helmet on a quad bike when it was in a near head-on collision with a tractor and hedge-cutting machinery.

He sustained injuries to his head and died at the scene.
