Cork will host the first-ever forum to discuss opportunities to develop business in the maritime sector.

Cork to host first maritime forum

The Port of Cork has announced details of the Irish Maritime Forum in Cork City Hall on September 26. It will focus developing a dynamic future for the country’s maritime industry.

The forum will feature guest speakers from both Ireland and abroad. They include Joachim Coens, president of Port of Zeebrugge; Capt Fredrik Van Wijnen, general secretary of the Confederation of European Shipmasters’ Associations (CESMA); Isabelle Ryckbost, secretary general of the European Sea Ports Organisation, and Christophe Mathieu, deputy managing director of Brittany Ferries.
