Jessica takes beauty crown

Looking good is hard work but well worth the effort, says newly crowned Miss Ireland, Jessica Hayes from Douglas, Cork.

Jessica, 20, who is currently single, is already busy making plans to represent Ireland at the Miss World contest in London in December.

She will be vying for the ultimate prize with more than 100 contestants in the beauty pageant.
