RTÉ’s controversial pundit Eamon Dunphy was forced to apologise to viewers after swearing on live TV last night.

Dunphy dropped the f-bomb when Bill O’Herlihy asked him about the level of expectation Brazilian players are facing. Describing the demeanour of Neymar before he scored a penalty in their opener against Croatia last Thursday, Dunphy said: “When Neymar was shaping up to take that penalty, I thought he was fucking dreading it.”
