Enda Kenny agreed only 10 days ago to reopen Lissadell when owners Eddie Walsh and his wife Constance Cassidy finally made a decision to return to the house in Co Sligo.

High on the agenda is a renewal of the international concerts that saw Leonard Cohen and Westlife play in front of thousands in 2010.
