Shane set to finish 12th marathon in 12 days

It’s a hard, endurance-testing slog, but a 22-year-old runner is set to complete 12 marathons in as many days.

Super-fit Shane Finn is set to complete his 12th marathon today and hopes to have reached his target of raising €20,000 to boot.

He is running in aid of Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Ireland and the inspiring force is his first cousin, Mary Evans, of Celbridge, Co Kildare, who suffers from the condition.
