Devastated girlfriend’s vigil for injured footballer Oisin Merritt

The devastated girlfriend of a rising young football star who is fighting for his life after a fall flew to Spain to be by his bedside yesterday.

Finn Harps footballer Oisin Merritt, 19, is in an induced coma after the accident in the early hours of Monday morning.

It is understood Oisin suffered a fractured skull and a bleed to the brain after allegedly falling from a balcony.
