Temperatures set to rise as warm weather stretches into bank holiday weekend

Met Eireann have predicted temperatures of up to 20 degrees Celsius in parts of the country from now until Monday.

South-west Ireland is set to receive the best weather tomorrow, with the warm spell moving up through the midlands on Friday.

The whole country is set for sun on Saturday, as temperatures reach 19 degrees in many inland areas, leaving coastal areas slightly cooler.

Dublin will be the warmest on Sunday, with highs of around 17 degrees expected.

Friday and Saturday will be the least windiest days, and rainfall will be at a minimum all weekend.

The weather is set to break on Monday, the rain clouds making a return just in time for us all to go back to work.

UPDATE: Some scattered showers across the country on Thursday, mainly in the midlands and northern Leinster.
