Man on 50 sex offence charges

A man yesterday appeared in Dublin Circuit Criminal Court charged with 50 counts of sexual offences against two young girls.

Last April, the man had been sent forward for trial by Judge Cormac Dunne at Dublin District Court.

Judge Mary Ellen Ring yesterday set a date of July 29 for his arraignment. She remanded the accused on continuing bail pending his next appearance.
