Cork City Council received 243 refusals of housing offers last year

Cork City Council has revealed that it received 243 refusals to offers of housing last year.

The figures also show that nine applicants refused the offer of a property on more than one occasion.

According to the local authority, some people refused offers of housing because they wanted larger accommodation, and one of the most common reasons for refusal was the location of the property.
