Dunnes get permission to build €16m luxury New York development

The son of controversial property developer Sean Dunne has been granted permission for a €16m luxury development in a highly sought after Manhattan neighbourhood.

John Dunne’s property development company had applied to build a block of apartments with ground floor retail space in SoHo, a popular shopping district in New York City.

At a brief hearing at the New York City Board of Standards and Appeals yesterday, a five-member panel granted permission for the project.
