Seized Rolex nets €3,500 for CAB

Another Rolex watch has been sold online for €3,500 by the Criminal Assets Bureau.

The eBay auction ended at lunchtime yesterday and yielded just one bid at the opening price.

The Garda agency has seized a number of high- end watches in raids on suspected criminals’ homes in recent years, and has been putting some up for auction under the seller name ‘proceedsofcrimeact1996’.
