Irish Open joins forces with Il Divo on special ticket offer

The Irish Open has joined forces with operatic pop vocal group Il Divo for a ticket promotion for fans of sport and music. For the May Bank Holiday weekend only, packages to both events are available at a discount of over 20%, offering €25 off the combined ticket price.

Saturday, June 21 in Cork will be a day-long offering of golf at Fota Island Resort, followed by a night of music at Musgrave Park.

June 21 is the third day of The Irish Open golf tournament, which makes its eagerly anticipated return to Cork after a 12-year absence.

This is Fota Island Resort’s third occasion to host the event which promises four days of world-class golfing action and family entertainment, set in stunning surrounds and within walking distance of attractions such as Fota Wildlife Park.

The record-breaking Il Divo, formed by music mogul Simon Cowell, have sold more than 26m albums worldwide. They will be supported by the cream of Irish talent including the Irish Sopranos and a full programme of popular music performed by the City of Cork Symphony Orchestra.

The music spectacular will include popular classics from South Pacific, Les Miserables, and West Side Story along with a classical take on many popular modern hits.
