Visually impaired woman in charity run

Geraldine Looney, 37, who is originally from Limerick but who lives in Cork, is currently in training with her guide dog, Irv, for the Cork Women’s Mini-Marathon in September.
She will take part with help from her sighted guide, Kieran Reilly, who will run alongside her, with a band tied between them to help her gauge her stride and pace.
