HB caves to public pressure and re-launches Funny Feet ice cream
On hiatus since the 1980's, Funny Feet reached cult status in Ireland and was resurrected by HB when over 6,000 consumers put the foot down and voted for the pink, strawberry-flavoured ice lolly to return to Irish freezers.
It is, quite possibly, the biggest Irish comeback since Johnny Logan's leather trousers reappeared on The Voice last year.
Anna Owen, Marketing Manager HB Ice Cream Ireland, said it was important to listen to the voice of the people and give them what they want.
She said: "Sometimes in life you need to take one step back to take two steps forward and, having listened to our loyal fans, we reckon that HB Funny Feet will be the hottest ice cream this summer."
