Litany of scandals blighting Shatter

Fianna Fáil justice spokesman Niall Collins led the attacks on the minister for the various scandals which hit the department under his watch and said Mr Shatter was “completely unfit to hold office”.
The minister was accused of “the bungling the handling of the penalty points issue” and of detail only emerging because of the independent report completed by the Comptroller and Auditor General. If it wasn’t for this report, Mr Collins said the minister would have proceeded along the line that “there is no issue there at all”.
