The family of an Irishman who died after being beaten and left for dead in an alley way in south London have said he was loved by people with whom he came into contact.

As the Metropolitan Police plan to visit the scene of the attack on Michael Hunt one week on, relatives paid tribute to the 37-year-old, originally from Waterford.

He was found badly beaten about the head and body early last Saturday before dying in hospital that day.
