Information gap in Rehab salary inquiry

The external group which recommended the salaries top Rehab bosses should be paid has refused to name the 58 “rival” companies it based the packages on.

Towers Watson declined to list the firms or what sectors they are in — issues which would explain how the under-pressure charity’s executive salaries were decided — despite claims all relevant information has been made public.

Last week, Rehab provided an eight-page summary of the Towers Watson 2014 report on its management salary and bonus payments to the Dáil public accounts committee, after weeks of delays.
