Rehab boss Kerins gets week to answer PAC questions

Rehab boss Angela Kerins has been given a week to answer a list of questions, including the salaries of senior executives at the charity, to the Dáil’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) after claims her evidence before it last week was incomplete.

The committee has also put the chairman of the Rehab board and Fine Gael strategist, Frank Flannery, on notice that it will be calling him in to give evidence.

He came under sharp criticism for his failure to attend last week’s meeting, despite being in Leinster House at the time Ms Kerins was under questioning about spending at the agency which received €82.2m in State funding last year.
