Blow for Kerry FF as fourth ex-councillor quits

Fianna Fáil woes in Kerry continue, with a fourth former councillor quitting the party.

Listowel town councillor Tom Walsh failed in his recent bid, at a convention, for a nomination to contest the upcoming local elections as a FF candidate in the Listowel electoral area.

Yesterday he confirmed he will stand as an Independent in the seven-seat area and claimed the party was in “total disarray” in north Kerry.
