Teenager dies as van hits tree

A 19-year-old man died yesterday when the van he was driving hit a tree.

Initial speculation that the crash involving Adam O’Donnell, from Fethard in Co Tipperary, was weather -related was later discounted by gardaí.

The crash happened at about 8.30am on a straight stretch of the Killenaule road, 3km from Fethard.
