Byrne takes over 2fm mid-morning slot as shake-up continues

RTÉ star Ryan Tubridy urged 2FM listeners to stay faithful to the station during its shake-up of the daytime schedule as Nicky Byrne adds star power to its line-up.

The former Westlife star is the latest name to be added to the station in the time slot which featured DJ Colm Hayes.

This comes just weeks after comedian Jennifer Maguire was unveiled as the new presenter of the station’s breakfast show, alongside her Republic of Telly co-star Bernard O’Shea and radio stalwart Keith Walsh.
