Deirdre ‘shocked’ to miss her Operation Transformation weight loss target

Operation Transformation leader Deirdre O’Donovan, who wants to stop emotional eating, was shocked when she failed to meet her target weight yesterday.

The Cork mother of two currently weights 16st 1½lbs — she weighed 17st 4½lbs when the RTÉ series started last month.

Presenter Kathryn Thomas told her that she only managed to lose half of her 3lb weekly weight loss target and asked why she thought that had happened.
