Sky helps viewers catch up with missed shows
Sky has launched its biggest ‘Catch Up’ TV service in Ireland, meaning viewers who missed out on episodes of their favourite programmes on certain channels over the festive period can now access it until the end of January at no extra cost.
The Catch Up service is expected to be expanded next month.
The service features 43 Sky and non-Sky channels, including TV3, with the number expanding to 49 in February.
Channel 4, More4, E4, Sky 1, Sky Atlantic, and the Sky Arts channels are also included in the service.
Viewers will need a Sky+HD box and can get instructions on accessing the service at sky.ie/setup.
Mark Anderson, Sky Ireland’s director of sales and marketing, said: “The addition of Catch Up TV at no extra cost means that our customers never again need to miss their favourite TV on their favourite channels and that’s a compelling proposition.”
Sky Ireland said it planned on further expanding its range of services in 2014, including customers using the Sky+ app to download an on demand show to their Sky+HD box at home from anywhere.
