Venerable West Cork pier the subject of artistic licence

Twenty-five artists’ interpretations of Glandore Harbour have formed a one-off exhibition.

The exhibit coincided with the launch of a book depicting a series of paintings of the Old Pier at Union Hall, collated by a couple who encouraged artists to paint the view from their garden.

Launching the book based on the place they call home, Paul and Aileen Finucane from Union Hall put the entire collection by artists from all over the world on display for the first time.
