Book opens up joy of reading for young children

Forget about iPads, iPhones, and other modern communications gadgets, there’s still nothing quite like a book — no matter what age you are.

A new type of book with which children can interact with their parents could find its way onto gift lists this Christmas.

Author Debora Tobin — who set out to make books more attractive to young children and get them interested in books at an early age — has devised the concept, Bee the Book: Farm Friends, for parents and children to share.
