County architect to aid Bandon project
Earlier this week the town’s flooding forum called on Cork County Council to appoint an architect to the town so that it could be rejuvenated and rebranded as millions are poured into its flood prevention, sewage and drainage systems over the next three years.
Cork County Council architect, Sean McLoughlin is due to meet the Bandon flooding forum next week.
Mayo County architect, Simon Wall told the town’s tidy towns committee at a meeting this week if the town is to reinvent itself, all the townspeople and traders will have to come on board.
