Man stabbed after row was unlawfully killed

Det Garda Cormac Crotty told Cork City Coroner’s Court yesterday that the victim, Mark Hanlon, was wrongly accused by Kellie Danza of taking her engagement ring during a party in the flat she shared with her boyfriend, Timothy Kelleher, on South Terrace in the early hours of May 6, 2012.

Gardaí established that when Mr Hanlon tried to leave, Ms Danza assaulted him outside before Mr Kelleher ran at him and plunged a knife into his chest.
